Missing a Lesson Weather Policy Resources Partnership Program

Both volunteers and students who participate in the CADS Calgary program are required to be a CADS member, which means purchasing an annual membership. The current membership fee for CADS Calgary is $40. (Note: Students are also required to pay the program fee and equipment fees if applicable.) Once your membership fee is paid, you will receive a membership card. Make sure your membership is up-to-date prior to your first day of involvement in a CADS activity.

Liability insurance is provided by CADS through your membership dues. This insurance, a Third Party Liability Insurance, covers a claim against you if someone is injured while you are participating in a CADS program and you are deemed responsible. It will cover the skier or snowboarder who has been injured but it will not cover personal injuries to the CADS student or instructor.

If you are a volunteer, your membership also entitles you to participate in CADS Calgary training programs, certification opportunities and volunteer appreciation events.
